NWC SCHOLARSHIPS

The New World Celts wishes to award the talents of those individuals or nonprofit organizations who demonstrate an interest in learning and promoting Celtic culture and heritage in our community. We offer scholarships and sponsorships for individuals and groups. Please find the application form that best suits your needs and follow the guidelines below. Forms may be mailed or emailed to your local chapter. To find the contact information for your local chapter, go to the Chapters tab at the top of the main screen and select from the drop-down menu.

The application must be submitted to your local chapter only. Please select the chapter closest to you at the top of the application. Applications submitted to multiple chapters for the same request may be denied.
All applications must include an essay with the following information

Type of Celtic art the applicant participates in
How the funds will be used
Actual cost of items/fees applicant intends to use the funds for
Letter of recommendation from mentor, teacher, or member. This can be excluded if the funds are requested by a school.

Failure to provide the necessary information will result in the application being denied.
Scholarships will be limited to a maximum of $250 each application.
Annual maximum of $750 per individual.
Sponsorships for individuals will be limited to a maximum of $500 each application. Annual maximum of $1,500 per individual.
Sponsorships for groups/schools will be limited to a maximum of $1,500 each application. Annual maximum of $5,000 per group/school.
